Building Diversity

Young women from Centralia High School toured the CHS construction site and Lakeside Industries' Centralia asphalt plant in March as part of an event called Building Diversity. The tours were arranged by New Market Skills Center as a way to introduce young women to various career opportunities.

Several students from our construction class took advantage of the opportunity to network with key people regarding apprenticeship and job opportunities.
