Sports Medicine Participates in State Competition

Our CHS sports medicine class participated in the state Sports Medicine Competition (WCTSMA) recently. A total of 18 CHS students were interviewed and invited to participate in the event which was held in Tacoma. More than 800 students from 49 state schools attended.

Savannah Hankins (9th grade) placed 117 out of 247 in the General Sports Medicine category. 
Courtney Leifer (11th grade) placed 57th out of 277 in the General Sports Medicine category.
Ben Waddell (11th grade) placed 15th out of 98 in the CPR/First Aid category.
Payton Meyer (12th grade) placed 13th out 98 in the Anatomy and Physiology category.
Sophie Hansen (12th grade) placed 4th out of 98 in Medical Terminology.
Maryanna Wu (12th grade) placed 2nd out of 98 in Medical Terminology, missing 1st place by one point!
