School conferences at CHS are held two times per year, and in different formats. Both are important, and are listed annually on the Centralia School District Calendar. Centralia High School follows the school wide conference format in the fall. In the spring, we have student led conferences, whereby students lead conferences with their parent and advisory teacher.
Fall Conferences: pre set appointments at the high school, in fifteen minute time slots. All teachers can visit with students and report on grades and progress toward graduation. This is a great snapshot in time of student progress.
Spring Student led Conferences;
Students lead conferences and give late year proress. graduation progress is reported, and classes are chosen for the following year according to the students' high school and beyond plan and personalized pathway. This is very important to know what is coming after high school, so class choices match with the best possible course of study. See advisors or couunselors for more information, and the high school web page under the counseling department for Skyward Scheduling Options.
