Welcome to First Grade. This year your child will not have one, but two teachers. Mrs. Cearns will be teaching her ninth year of first grade at Edison in room 7. Miss Miller will be teaching her fourteenth year, having spent the last 8 year at Edison. Her room is right next door to Mrs. Cearns' (room 5). This is the fourth year we have decided to combine our teaching talents by "team teaching." Miss Miller will be teaching both classes math and Mrs. Cearns will be teaching both classes writing and spelling. We are so excited about our upcoming year and look forward to meeting all of you very soon.
