I was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington and graduated from Franklin Pierce High School. I LOVED high school!! In fact, back in those days.....that is what kids did!  No internet, cell phones or X-boxes~~ My High School years were full and exciting! I was enrolled in every choir available, avidly involved in drama club, ASB, Yearbook, Girls Club and Newspaper staff.  I did not consider college until my junior year when my choir teacher encouraged me that I would be a great teacher and --twisted my arm-- to apply to a college.--Thank you Mr. Angelo Manzo!!

After high school, I attended Eastern Washington University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. I have taught for 25 years in public education--12 years of which have been here in Centralia. I cannot believe how quickly years turn into decades. I currently teach FOUR choirs at Centralia High School and TWO choirs at Centralia Middle School, where I am also the choir director. I am married and have a son in 2nd grade. You will always see my family at my performances--they are my biggest supporters!  My hobbies include showing/breeding AKC Pembroke Welsh Corgis, hunting deer and elk, and fishing. I perform in the Sound of Swing as a vocalist--Big Band Style. I am so thankful to be doing what I LOVE to do~Teach/Sing/Perform--I am blessed every day.

CHOIR---It's not my elective...it's my PASSION!!!
