Professional Life: This is my 31st year of teaching at the high school level. I graduated from the University of Portland in 1992 and received my Masters Degree in Educational Technology from City University in 1999. I have taught at Centralia High School since 2001. Previously, I taught at Shelton High School from 1992 to 2001. Over the course of my career  I have taught U.S. History, World History, Civics, Economics, and Pacific Northwest History. My current teaching assignment includes U.S. History, World History, and Civics. My daily passion is to teach students the relevance of history in their lives. 

 

Extra Curricular: I have served as a Head Baseball Coach for 22 years (retired), an Assistant Football Coach for 27 years, and as Asst. Basketball Coach for 10 years.

 

 

Personal Life: Married to DeAnna Rooklidge for 24 years. We have 5 children together including Kaylee 22, Brynna 21, Evie 19, Kellen 16, and Eliyah 13. In my spare time I enjoy camping with my family, coaching, working on my 113 year old house, and following sports in general.
