• Public comments must be submitted prior to the call to order of the board meeting. Any public comments submitted after the call to order will not be read aloud at the meeting. 

    The board recognizes the value of public comment on educational issues and the importance of involving members of the public in its meetings. In order to permit fair and orderly expression of public comment, while operating in a virtual manner, the Board Chair will read aloud the public comment at the designated time. The board is not obligated to respond to questions or challenges made during the public comment and the board's silence will not signal agreement, endorsement, or disagreement of the speaker's remarks. The Board Chair may terminate an indivdual's statement if uncivil comments are included. (Board Policy 1400)
