    The Centralia/Chehalis Pupil Transportation Co-op is currently hiring substitute school bus drivers for the Centralia and Chehalis School District. The Co-op offers a comprehensive, free of charge, training program for individuals 21 years old or older who have a clean 5 year driving record. Upon completion of training, you will become a CDL-licensed driver and a valuable member of the Co-op’s Transportation driving team.

     
    Why be a school bus driver? 

    1.  Great job for retiree’s, college student’s and people looking for extra income.
    2.  Being home with your kids, off on weekends, holidays and summer breaks.
    3. Work mornings, afternoons, and/or all day.    
    4. A great way be a part of the education and support student leaning.
     
     
    Application and Interview Process:
     
    Follow these steps to become a school bus driver for the Co-op.
    1. Go to the Human Resources Job Openings Link. Review the information.
    2. Be sure to include references of three previous employers on the application.
    3. If you need help, call Dale Dunham at (360) 330-7628, or go to the Centralia/Chehalis Transportation facility located at 1119 West Chestnut in Centralia.
     
    All applicatiton must attach a current "5 year school bus driver's" abstract of driving record to their application.  Please go to the Department of Licensing (DOL) for more information.
