    Sixth Grade Supply List:

    1        Three ring-1 ½ inch binder (No larger than 1 ½” because they do not fit in desks)

    4         Notebook paper (at least 100 per packet) Replenish as needed

    2         Single Subject Spiral Notebooks.

    36       #2 pencils – replenish as needed

    2         Writing Composition Book (Not Spiral Bound)

    2-3      Large boxes of Kleenex – more if needed

    1         Package of colored pencils

    1         Packages of subject dividers (sets of 5)

    2-4      Red pens or pencils or for correcting (no other colors)

    2-3      Highlighters (Various Colors)

    12       Black Dry Erase Markers

    1         Glue stick

    2         Packages Pencil Top Erasers

    1         Ruler

    1         Pair Scissors 

          
     

    6th GRADE ABSOLUTELY NO:

    *Sharpies or Permanent Markers*
    *Trapper Keeper or Zipped Binders*
    No Liquid Glue/Correction Fluid
     

    6th Graders go to Seattle Science Center Fee is $9 Due November 1st.

    6th Graders go to Camp Cispus in April. Fee is $85 Due March 2nd.

    6th Grade Celebration in June Fee is $5 Due May 1st.

      

    Agenda/Planners:

    Students at Washington are required to use agendas on a daily basis. When students enter Centralia Middle School they also are expected to use an agenda.  The purpose of the agenda allows students to track daily lesson plans, homework assignments, and communicate between home and school. Important information is included in an agenda such as; student/parent handbook, school rules, emergency procedures, school calendar, mission statement, and pertinent board policies. The P.T.O Club provides each incoming student an agenda at no cost.  If students lose or misplace their agenda, they are required to purchase a replacement for $6.00.

     

    Reminders:

    ·         Students at Washington are expected to complete 30 minutes of reading Monday – Thursday nights and homework assignments as required by the teacher.

    Miscellaneous:

    ·         Please put your child’s name on all belongings including but not limited to outdoor clothing such as: coats, sweaters, boots, caps, gloves, and also on lunch pails, water bottles, etc. For safety reasons, tennis shoes are recommended for P.E.

    Required Immunizations - Varicella (Chickenpox) shot or the date of having chickenpox is needed to start the first day of school.  Also needed, IF student is 11 years old & IF it has been at least 5 years soince the last dose of Dtap, DT or Td, a Tdap booster is required.  Please call or send a note with these required dates.
