• Dear Families,

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year!  Our brand new school is filled with many learning opportunities for our students.  We have implemented the most updated technology that is enhancing teaching and learning to a level we’ve never experienced before.

Our staff understands that success at school begins at home. We believe in the importance of a strong home-school partnership; therefore, we ask that you please contact your student’s teacher if you have questions or concerns regarding their progress.

At Jefferson Lincoln, we work hard to provide a positive, safe and caring environment for all students and staff. We strive to see academic and social growth in every student. A large part of our work this year will be focused on using data to make academic decisions for students. Those students who are identified as needing some added support, will receive additional academic intervention within the school day. Students identified as exceeding academic expectations will be provided with extension activities to best meet their needs.

We are proud to be a Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (P.B.I.S.) school. We follow our Proud Patriot expectations in all locations of our school to provide a safe, caring and positive environment.  Our three core expectations are: Be Safe, Respectful and Responsible.

Communication with our families plays an important role in the success of our students. We utilize a variety of communication tools to keep our families updated such as email, phone calls, monthly family newsletters and our webpage.  Our most common mode of communication is our school’s Facebook page (“Like” us at Jefferson Lincoln Elementary School.) It is updated multiple times throughout the week with photos, videos, reminders and updates that you won’t want to miss!

I look forward to partnering with you for another great school year together.

     Warmly,

    Kelli DeMonte, Lead Learner
