About Centralia School District
The school district is located in Lewis County, one of the largest of Washington’s 39 counties and one of the most scenic. District enrollment for the 2009-2010 school year averaged 3,400 which includes a four-year AA high school, a two-year middle school, five primary/intermediate elementary grade centers, an alternative high school, an on-line virtual school, and a special services cooperative.
We are dedicated to providing a quality education for all through programs and facilities of which Centralians are justly proud. The district employs 217 certificated and 237 classified staff members. Our Community
Centralia is located in Southwest Washington, enabling its 13,000 residents to enjoy the scenic beauty as well as many outdoor activities including mountain climbing, hiking, fishing, boating, water and snow skiing, and access to ocean beaches. . .all within a hundred mile radius.
