This notice is to inform you that Centralia and Chehalis Schools will no longer operate the Twin Cities Virtual Academy (TCVA) located at Yard Birds.  Effective July 31, 2012, all campus functions of the Twin Cities Virtual Academy will close.  For those parents who wish to continue with virtual education, you may want to explore options with the following entities:

• For credit retrieval learning opportunities please contact Centralia High School regarding their NovaNet program offerings
• For accelerated learning opportunities contact the Digital Learning Department through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction at the following link: 

http://digitallearning.k12.wa.us/

The decision to close the TCVA program and campus was a very difficult one for Centralia and Chehalis Schools.  We are aware that closure of any educational program may be difficult on families, students, and staff; however, the financial demands of operating a program led us to this decision.
