Parent Teacher Conferences

We want your parent-teacher conference to be a success -- for you, your child, and your child’s teacher. Below are some tips to help you prepare for this important meeting:

Make a list of things that will help the teacher understand your child better.

For Example:

  • any special health needs or problems;
  • outside interests and hobbies;
  • feelings about school;
  • relationships with brothers and sisters.

Make a list of things you want to find out from the teacher.

Your child may be asked to attend the conference and participate in the conversation. Talk it over before the conference to get ideas about what should be covered and to help relieve anxiety about the conference. After- ward, be sure to talk about any changes or new plans.
