Centralia High School
was first established in 1889
and today serves 1,077 stu-
dents. CHS is a comprehen-
sive high school with instruc-
tion taking place not only on
the main campus but also at
New Market Vocational Skills
Center, Yard Birds, Centralia
College, construction sites
and local businesses. In ad-
dition, summer school helps
over 75 students complete
credits toward graduation or
prepare for high school.
The Northwest Associa-
tion of Schools and Colleges
has accredited CHS continu-
ously since 1920.
