Chehalis-Centralia Student Support Cooperative

The Centralia School District has joined a collaborative effort with the Chehalis School District to provide an extensive range of quality special education programs and services to the special needs students within the district.  The Student Support Program places emphasis on the unique learning abilities of each student and is committed to providing quality services in the least restrict environment.  While most disabilities can be served within the student’s home school, at times it is necessary to transfer students into another school where the educational programming is more appropriate to their unique needs.  The staff within the Student Support Cooperative understands the essentiality of parent support and involvement.  Emphasis is always placed on developing a strong team relationshiop with student’s parents.

The Student Support Cooperative provides occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech and language therapy, psycho educational assessments as well as instructional programs for students ranging from severely disabled to very mildly disabled.  If anyone has a concern regarding a child’s need for these services they should contact the Office of Student Support at 360-807-7245.

As Director of Student Support I invite you to contact me anytime if you have any questions or concerns.
